Many airlines have flash sales or heavily discounted rates on unsold inventory to some of the most beautiful places in the world.
Hotels often have last-minute promotions on as well. By staying flexible, you can save on both flight and hotel packages that make a more high-end vacation much more affordable.

Another way to cut costs on vacation is by looking beyond traditional hotels.
